We are currently aware of an issue with the text-to-speech functionality, which effects our Android users.
The language of the eBook is not always auto-detected, so you need to manually select the language in which the app will read the eBook via the Settings button in the TTS menu in the app.
We have detected an issue that effects PDF files in Japanese. This language is not always correctly detected and as a result, the app displays empty pages in such eBooks.
We are working to determine the reason for the issue and to resolve the problem.
The Media365 app is currently not available on the App Store.

Why do I still see ads even though I am a premium user?
If you have purchased the old one-time premium option, you enjoy only the premium features of the Android app itself. This option removes the ads from your own books and from the Library tab. However, you do not receive the premium benefits related to the content of the Media365 catalog.
We display ads within Media365 eBooks, as this is how we generate income for authors and publishers. Thus, you access the content for free in return for viewing ads. If you would like to remove the ads from Media365 books and read them offline, you can upgrade to the Media365 Premium Subscription. You will be offered the special price available for existing paid users of the app.

Alternatively, you can email us your original eBook file (e.g. RTF, DOC, DOCX) and we will convert it for you. Please note that the process will take a few business days and this service is not free. I have uploaded my eBook, but it does not show up in the Media365 catalog. Why?
The Media365 catalog (the Discover tab in the app), where readers can browse for eBooks within different categories and in different languges, only displays eBooks from verified publishers. If you already are a verified publisher, please make sure that you are looking for your eBook in the correct language.
How can I become a verified publisher?
To become a verified publisher, please contact our team at: info@media365.com and provide proof that you are the legal rights holder of the content you have uploaded and want to publish to the Media365 platform. This can be done by either showing that you are listed as the author/publisher in the actual eBook or by providing other evidence, such as Facebook pages, Instagram accounts, websites, drafts, contracts, etc. We aim to make the verification process as easier as possible for you, so send us whatever you have and we will get back to you if we need any further information.
Alternatively, you can apply via the Application Form for Publishers, accessible here.
How do I earn money from my published eBooks?
You earn money from the ads people see while reading your books. You also get a share from the revenue from the Media365 Premium user subscriptions. Your revenue share is calculated based on how many of your books have been read in a given month. Thus, the more readers you have, the more money you will earn. The exact algorithm is proprietary and we are constantly monitoring and optimizing it to ensure fairness. You can monitor your books' performance and the generated income in the Revenue tab in the Publisher Portal.
How do I measure the performance of my published eBooks?
Once you are verified as a publisher, a few new options will appear in your Publisher Portal. You will see a Revenue tab where you can monitor the downloads, reads and revenue from your books. The same information will also be available for individual each book in its book details page
When do I receive the payouts from my published eBooks?
Your earnings will be transferred to your PayPal account on a monthly basis (after the 15th of the month), after you have accumulated at least 100 USD. (Please make sure that you have filled in your PayPal account in your account info in the Publisher Portal.)
We can also make bank transfers, but then bank fees for the transfer (which can be quite substantial) will be deducted from your earnings.
Please note that you will need to verify yourself as a publisher before receiving any payouts.
Who owns the rights to the eBooks I upload to Media365?
You remain the owner of any and all rights to the eBooks you upload. Please familiarize yourself with the Media365 Content Guidelines and Publisher Agreement before uploading content.
What should I do if I have identified illegal content?
We work hard to identify and take down illegal or pirated content and protect the real rights owners. However, sometimes pirated content may slip through and become available in our catalog. You can report such content by contacting us. Our takedown notice procedure can be found here.
