The book - Unearthing the Scriptures: Exploring the Mysterious Gems of the Bible - 44 Manifestations of God is about exploring the hidden gems or the mysterious gems of the bible. We will unfold these Bible Gems in this book and series of books in Bible Gems to Remember Series so that you can remember them and call them forth with ease, in summarized format for reference and most importantly for life application and Godly living. The wisdom and the understanding embedded in scripture that can be harnessed for life and godliness are spread across the entire bible. They require the inspiration of the Holy Spirit to be bring them to light. Jesus said in John 16:13 - But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future].The question from the above text now arises, "If all truth as revealed in scripture or the bible as we know it today and everyone can and should understand them as we readily say, then why should the Holy Spirit come to lead us into ALL TRUTH?" Are we saying there are other truths beyond the written word? Or the Holy Spirit will cause us to go deeper, granting wisdom and understanding in the hidden truth beyond the written word?Let me give an example of a very interesting story Jesus shared to the crowed of followers and also to His disciples. The story was about a farmer who went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow.
