THE UNENDING MICROBIAL WORLD WAR 1

It is an interesting story about what transpired in the microbial world that brought about the current world health problems of antibiotics resistance.It focused on two different world which was captured in the context as “populations”, the microbial world and human world. It explored an unending war between the two populations. It was an anti-penicillin war which reflect one of the biggest problems facing medical system today, the antibiotic resistant war which had been posing great challenge to the health of human populace over time. In the story, the microbes were personified and attributed human qualities to make the story more interesting. It was told from 1st person point of view whereby “I” and “we” are constantly used along with the 3rd person point of view, “he” and “they”! the narrator of the story is Escherichia Coli (a.k.a E-Coli) which is one of the members of microbial population, he narrated the story based on first hand experience as one of the front liners in the antibiotics resistant war. He explored the story with details including their nature of their initial relationship with human population, the rise of the rebel microbes and the first and second conspiracy meeting of the microbial population which built to the beginning of the on going antibiotics resistant war. In the story, the key players in the antibiotic resistance among the microbial population were clearly spelt in terms of their resistant roles. All the microbes are represented as "microb population”. The untiring efforts of human population to developing antibiotics were not swept under carpet but clearly captured in the story. Few names of scientists were mentioned. The members of human population are recognize in this story as "huma population".
