She Plays the Race Card

This book tells the courageous story of a black supervising registered nurse who filed several EEO complaints against her employer, only to face a barrage of retaliatory actions from her white subordinates, the director of nursing, and coworkers. These acts included a black doll hung on a noose in her image and a hemoccult card smeared with fecal matter left in her workplace mailbox. Despite these horrific acts, the nurse refused to back down and remained steadfast in her convictions.
